Each year, the Monumental Rifle & Pistol Club, Inc. sponsors an essay writing contest for eleventh and twelfth grade students in Maryland. The winner is awarded a $1000.00 stipend to put towards advanced (post high school) education. Deadline to apply is July 15, 2011.
